Mounds State Park

We took the hiking path to the Great Mound and along the Tree Trail. This is a very green and well maintained state park. The 2,000 year old ceremonial mounds were very interesting and much larger than we expected. Kelly, the park naturalist and archeologist, shared information and brochures of where to see these structures all over Ohio and Indiana. There will be a Miami Nation of Indiana drum circle sunset event on Saturday that we will miss since we are schedule to be at another park 75 miles away. Dang! More info about the park in the link at end of post.
