We arrived at Barkcamp State Park in Belmont OH in the pouring rain. Our site is beautiful but flawed. The parking spot could have been a challenge for someone without Warren’s superb backing skills (and my outstanding walkie talkie guidance 😉) It’s situated on a curve, narrow and bordered with some deep ruts from other campers attempts to park. Warren nailed it on the first try and never went off the asphalt. This park is situated on the grounds of an old apple orchard and named after Barkcamp Creek where a logging camp operated. We have no plans other than to walk the trails and attend Ranger programs this weekend. Life is good 💚 at Barkcamp!
