Not Perfect 😊

Our site looks pretty nice from this angle
Perfectly Private and Green!
Uh Oh!
Other RVs had issues getting in the drive
Narrow and crumbly drive

We arrived at Barkcamp State Park in Belmont OH in the pouring rain. Our site is beautiful but flawed. The parking spot could have been a challenge for someone without Warren’s superb backing skills (and my outstanding walkie talkie guidance πŸ˜‰) It’s situated on a curve, narrow and bordered with some deep ruts from other campers attempts to park. Warren nailed it on the first try and never went off the asphalt. This park is situated on the grounds of an old apple orchard and named after Barkcamp Creek where a logging camp operated. We have no plans other than to walk the trails and attend Ranger programs this weekend. Life is good πŸ’š at Barkcamp!

    1. The park is pretty full for the next few days. Other spots are too close together for our liking. We just have to watch our step. Not a problem. We just like sharing that not every camping spot is a Instagram picture πŸ˜‰

  1. First try?!? Now that’s pro status for sure! I love that you share all sides of your nomadic life. I’m sure Warren likes a good parking challenge every once in a while πŸ˜‰

    1. Yes, first try! We had disconnected the trailer since the site is too short for our whole set up. It was pouring rain and that added an element of excitement πŸ˜‰ We looked like drowned rats after setting up.
