Thelma’s Kitchen

We were a bit tired from our move to a new campground, so we decided to treat ourselves to some good home cooking. They describe themselves as a “soul food” kitchen. This unassuming place in Eufaula Alabama was just what we were hungry for! The outside looks like a typical local family restaurant but you step inside to soft jazz music, a friendly greeting, comfortably modern decor and really delicious smells. We added some catfish to our normal veggie sides 😊 Wow! Do they know how to season and fry fish to perfection. Named after the owner’s Mama. What’s not to love?

    1. Often we just stumble upon them 😊 Our first 2 choices were closing too early so we drove over to AL with central time zone. So glad. They were the nicest people and the food was excellent
