⭐ Starburst Lamp ⭐

We needed some light in a corner so we designed and built exactly what we wanted. Taking our inspiration from 1950s tiered lamps, came up with this. I stumbled across a way to dye the clear filament used in the smaller tiers with an ink pad. The filament runs through the pad then enters the heating element of the 3D printer. The result is a pleasing translucent lampshade. The larger shade is solid white with applied mid century modern designs. We learned some new skills with this project. “Keeping our claws sharp” as the Beatniks used to say.
