Bradenton Florida

Just a short stop over to visit a dear niece and nephew. Dinner with them tomorrow night then we will have a day to explore the Riverwalk before we leave on Wednesday. We will certainly be back to enjoy this beautiful area. Such are the delights of this lifestyle. Freedom to return to favorite places and people. Lake Manatee State Park

Our site is perfect for us. Large, level, secluded and natural.

    1. I use an app called Allstays on my mobile. You can filter your search map for the kind of camping and location. We stay mainly at state parks, Army Corp parks and National Parks. After you locate a park you are interested in, you tap on it and then can read reviews, see prices, reserve a site etc. You can also filter for equestrian camping. For Florida, you have to reserve for winter months as early as 11 months in advance. The nice parks fill up fast. I had all of our reservations made by June this year. Usually earlier but COVID had shut down Florida until then. I’m compiling a list of our favorite parks as we go. Most winters will be spent in Florida and occasionally southwest. I will send you a text with some good parks in Florida.
