This year as you make those New Year Resolutions, give yourself a break. If I set too high a standard, I doom myself for failure. If I set a realistic goal then I’m more likely to meet or even exceed that on a daily basis. I want to walk 10,000 steps each day but too often I only make it to 7,500 or so. I have started setting my minimum at 5,000 and for some reason I do much better than that most of the time. Old arthritic knees and chronic plantar fasciitis slow me down but don’t get me down. Looking forward to a better year in 2021.
